In a world first, Bosch have developed the new Kick Back Stop Feature so now when the machine detects a sudden jam or drop in RPM, it immediately shuts off and prevents injury.

Another new feature is the Restart Protection, which prevents the motor from automatically restarting after the power is cut. The motor and disc do not restart until the user flips the switch off and on again.

And with the patented Bosch Control Auxiliary Handle on all of our GWS 8 to 14 inch angle grinders, vibrations are cut by up to 70% so you can work with greater comfort.

Another feature is the new Direct Cooling and additional rear air vents, so in case your gloves block the side vents, the rear vents and continue to direct air flow and ensure the motor stays cool.

All new mini grinders now come with a Bullet-Proof Guard. This ensures greater safety because it protects the user against flying pieces of broken disc.

The protective guard is also easy to adjust without tools and it locks automatically.

And if all that is not enough, we've cranked up the motor to deliver more power and used durable synthetic graphite carbon brushes so the machine has an even longer service life.
