Responsibility for the environment is a core value at Bosch and is firmly anchored in our principles for safety and environmental protection. These principles extend to employees, services, and suppliers, and their aim is the  continuous improvement of our environmental performance, allied to a concern for occupational safety.  Bosch introduced its first binding guideline on environmental protection thirty years ago. The principles of environmental protection, which have since been updated a number of times, were formulated in 1996 and apply throughout the Bosch Group worldwide.
