The promotion was launched at a media conference at Melbourne Central on Tuesday morning. Many key road safety activists including Ross McArthur, the Vehicle Safety Manager for VicRoads believe ESP technology is the next 'golden bullet' for safer vehicles.
The State Coroner, Graeme Johnstone has also recommended ESP and has called for its standard fitment in all cars on Australian roads.
Victorian road safety authorities are claiming that ESP would save 50 Victorian lives each year if all cars were fitted with the system.
Increase consumer awareness via education programs and demonstrations through devices such as the Bosch ESP simulator, are the first step towards increasing fitment of ESP in our vehicles.
The Bosch ESP simulator will be at Melbourne Central from Tuesday 24 January to Wednesday 1 February. It will also be on show at the Melbourne Motorshow from Thursday 9 to Sunday 19 February.
