Bosch can currently supply around 10,000 replacement parts for all gasoline injection system applications
A wide range of genuine, low-cost "Bosch Exchange" parts is also available
The Bosch D-Jetronic, the world's first electronically controlled gasoline injection system in a mass-produced passenger vehicle, was presented 40 years ago in a Volkswagen 1600 LE/TLE at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 1967. The achievement of the Jetronic and its successors has been to reduce fuel consumption and emissions whilst at the same time enhancing gasoline-engine performance. Other new features of the injection system alongside the electronic control were the electric fuel pumps and solenoid-operated injectors. Today's range of Bosch parts for all aspects of electronic gasoline injection systems reflects the wealth of experience gained by the leading original-equipment supplier in the motor-vehicle sector. With more than 10,000 automotive aftermarket items the range is the broadest of its type. It includes not only Electric Fuel Pumps, Injectors and Ignition Coils, but also Oxygen Sensors and Sensor technology, right through to components for gasoline direct-injection systems.
