Precise route guidance with clear symbols, informative map, a variety of displays (simultaneous arrow/map, large map or arrow) and map alignments (north, automatic, zoom on junction) all help to create precise, user-friendly in-car route guidance.

The TravelPilot DX-Vs Human-Machine Interface (HMI) has be redesigned and adapted to fit the 16:9 format. This has resulted in greatly improved and intuitive operator prompting with self-explanatory graphical symbols, which are also accompanied by additional text information. This makes entering information and using the DX-V easier than ever.

The removable 16:9 wide-screen monitor acts as a split screen, making it possible to display arrow symbols and the road geometry in a map view at the same time. Along with this, the TravelPilot DX-V also features the well-known route guidance precision of the Blaupunkt systems, combining exact spoken recommendations with visual directional information.

The informative on-board computer functions include display of arrival time, remaining distance from destination, current speed, distance already travelled, total journey time and average speed are all standard features of the DX-V.

The DX-V is equipped with a 16.5cm TFT LC colour display and allows the direct selection of settings such as contrast, angle or brightness. A recently developed protective film makes the screen particularly resistant to reflection, making the display less susceptible to soiling and easier to clean. The integrated speaker, adjustable height and reduced depth means that the DX-V can be installed anywhere. For added piece of mind, the wide screen monitor is easy to detach from its mount, creating effective theft protection.

With the new 16:9 widescreen monitor, simultaneous arrow and map displays and the redesigned and updated navigation computer and software, you’d have to be crazy to navigate with anything else but Blaupunkt!
