Materials Management & Procurement

Materials Management and Procurement encompasses a number of invaluable roles needed to maintain production and cost efficiency. Bosch is committed to making sure that production is supported from the initial quote of a product to the planning of production volumes

Project Management Purchasing

Project Management and Preventive Quality Planning Purchasing manages the different projects, from platform and application projects to pre-series and series business until end-of-life. We are the purchasing interface to the business units/divisions and the internal customers of Automotive Purchasing.

Technical Service Centre

The Technical Service Center is the single point of contact for technical communication with the regional supplier plant. We are organized according to material fields and oriented towards regional supplier clusters. Being close to the suppliers ensures quick cycle time in all technical communication.

Indirect Purchasing

Indirect Purchasing is responsible for the procurement of goods and services other than trading goods and materials directly used in the manufacture of products at Bosch, e.g. capital equipment, factory & office consumables, utilities, services.

Materials Planning

Materials planning is responsible for the OE Supply Chain at RBAU covering all processes from receipt of customer orders through to scheduling suppliers and own manufacture and dispatching finished goods. We service local and export OE customers as well as OES and IAM with own manufactured products.

Our aim is to achieve high customer service levels whilst minimising costs to the business through reducing stocks, limiting premium freight and improving overall OE supply chain processes.
